Annie Wersching was an American actor who died on the 29th of January in 2023. She is best known for playing Renee Walker, a regular part of the TV series 24 as well as characters who appear in other shows such as The Rookie Bosch or Timeless. She also performed motion-capture and voice-over work in the role of Tess in the online game The Last of Us. Even after her diagnosis in 2020 the actress Annie Wersching refused to let cancer stop her from working and kept working in the entertainment industry. Star Trek is where she had a notable role. Picard was the Borg in the second season of the series, and she played a regular role on The Rookie. Her talents also grew to gaming, acting as her character Tess in the critically-acclaimed gaming game The Last Of Us which was later made to a series on TV by HBO. Wersching was an accomplished professional and a dedicated performer her determination and spirit will be greatly missed.
